● I am a Chair, Board Member, Director, and Executive Officer with over thirty years of board-level experience, particularly in the government, regional government, business consulting, leadership development, culture change, mentoring/coaching, risk management, cross-cultural collaboration, financial management, and governance industries. ● At board level, I drive growth and performance. I do that by guiding teams to build powerful organisational capabilities through strategic repositioning, system and organisational alignment, practical business transformation, and performance improvement. Board-level highlights include chair roles in multiple organisations, such as the SEQ Waste Working Party, SEQ Regional Recreation Facilities, Binya, and the Harwood Nominees Superannuation Fund; director positions at Council of Mayors South East Qld, Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy, and Forest Industry Training South Australia; and member positions in Northern Adelaide Economic Development Alliance and Whyalla Chamber of Commerce. ● In an executive capacity, for the last 8 years, I have been Mayor of Scenic Rim Regional Council, delivering visionary leadership to stimulate regional growth and performance. I have previously held senior executive roles, responsible for diverse key functional areas. I am currently a Director at StepUpQ, a business process consulting and executive coaching & mentoring business. ● Finally, I hold an MBA in International Management and an Associate Diploma in Business in Human Resources. I am an accredited and certified Mentor and coach, a Senior Executive Strategic Leadership Consortium Graduate, and have completed the Global Executive Development Program.
