● I am a Board Director, Chair, Committee Member, Group Executive, and People and Culture Executive with over a decade of executive experience in leadership roles, with particular experience in HR leadership roles in private, ASX-Listed, and global financial, property and FMCG companies.
● At the board level, what I do is drive organisational improvement bringing commercial and strategic oversight as a Non-Executive Director and CPO in partnership with Boards, CEOs, and leadership teams that enhance company performance, culture, and capability. Additionally, I guide the construction of bespoke HR strategies and people programs that result in strengthened organisational capability, customer service, employee engagement, and measurable impacts on profit.
● In an executive capacity, I am currently the Executive General Manager (People and Culture) at Abacus Group. Here I developed the Abacus Group’s performance management, remuneration, and benefits framework and embedded a recognise and reward for performance culture. Previously, I was the Group Executive and General Manager of Woolworths Holdings Ltd. Here, I developed and delivered the strategic agendas of HR and Work Health Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethical Sourcing, and Environment. I led a base HR team of 75, managed an operating budget of $10m, and oversaw a head office salary budget of $103m. I reduced unplanned absenteeism to less than 3%, maintained this rate, and increased the company’s engagement score from 73% to 84%.
● Finally, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education Majors. I am a Certified Executive Coach and an Accredited program facilitator. I am a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
