I am a Non-Executive Director, Chair, Advisory Board Member, CEO and Chief of People and Culture Officer with over a decade board-level experience. Particular expertise in the Technology, Health, Education and Consultancy industries. At board level, I drive business growth, efficient organisational structures, high performing culture and governance. I do that by applying my people, culture, leadership, ethics and performance knowledge to ensure better decision-making strategies are in place. Board level highlights include: Non-Executive Director at Rural Northwest Health, Chair, Company Secretary and Non-Executive Director at SPELD, Advisory Board Member at CareerLounge and Council member at Mount Scopus. In an executive capacity, I am currently the Founder & CEO of DifferenThinking Consulting. Here I help clients to reduce risks, deal with people and organisational challenges and implement strategies for growth. Previously I was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Acendre, where I have developed and managed global growth, built new HR processes and a more cohesive cross-business structure. Earlier I was Head HR Australasia at DST Global Solutions, where I have reduced employee annual turnover from 40% to 13% and improved employee engagement from below 45% to above 70%. Finally, I have a PhD in Management from Melbourne University and hold Executive Leadership Programs Certificates from Harvard University. I am the Co-author of “The Ethical Kaleidoscope: Values, Ethics and Corporate Governance” (2017, Routledge), a book about the role of Boards in corporate ethics and facilitated the AICD “Gaining Strategic Advantage Through Ethical Decision making” webinar for company directors.
