I am a Non Executive Director, Chairman, President, Vice President and Managing Director with over twenty years of board level experience across the commercial sector with particular experience in the travel and tourism industries. Board level highlights include: President of the Blue Mountains Accommodation and Tourism Association where I turned around a tourist Newspaper, increased membership and opened a new Visitors Information Centre; Vice President of the Wentworth Falls Chamber of Commerce and Community; Non Executive Director with Tinpac contributing to improving governance and planning for growth and expansion into the Asia Pacific region. In an executive capacity I am currently the Managing Director of Fantastic Aussie Tours Group, where I have grown the business from initially operating 4 tours to over 35 tours p.a. servicing more than 60,000 passengers. As the Managing Director of Dial a Coach Limited, I led the transition of the business to the Backpackers Travel Centre as Co-founder & Director, growing the business from 4 backpacker retail travel agencies to 32, operating across Australia, New Zealand and London, with BTC listed by BRW as of the Fastest 100 companies in 2000 and became the major supplier of many of the main Backpacker products in Australia including becoming Ansett Australia’s second fastest growing wholesaler. I have also been the Co-Founder and Director of Beyond Words Publications, International World Horizons Pty Ltd, Best of Group and Antarctic Horizons and the Founder & Chairman of the Cooper Street Properties development project. Finally, I have an MBA and have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course. I have also won an award for an outstanding contribution to tourism and was a finalist in the Ernst & Young 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year.
