Intrax is a National, multi-disciplinary professional services firm that services clients across multiple market sectors. They offer a full range of engineering and field services that include Geotechnical, Survey, Civil Land design, Structural, Civil, Building Services engineering, and Forensic/Remedial. They provide services to the Volume Housing, Medium Density, Apartment, Commercial, Industrial, Insurance, Infrastructure, Education, and Government sectors.

Established in 2003 as a values-led business, our 300 Australian team members operate from every mainland state and are supported by our 200 employees in China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

The Role

The Board is seeking a second NED to join the board that is Chaired by an ASX experienced NED and is rounded out by four Executive Directors that includes the two founders of the business.

The Intrax Board meets 6-7 times per year for 3-4 hours, and the Finance and Audit committee 4 times per year for two hours. There is also a yearly off-site Strategic retreat that starts or finishes on a weekend and will need two dedicated business days. The Board may need to meet on an ad-hoc basis at other times.

Selection Criteria

As the world enters a new age of digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, the Board is searching for an individual with the following primary skill set:

• Understands application of contemporary technology to organisations, importantly AI.
• Experience with modern digital marketing practices and platforms.
• Is able to advise on technology strategies in a professional services environment.
• Digital transformation.
• Taking IP to market- locally, globally.

And our nice-to-haves include:

• Previous Board experience and GAICD qualifications.
• Patent, trademark IP experience.
• Is able to develop a wide and diverse network of influencers.      
• Has a network of contacts that can be leveraged for the benefit of the organisation.
