I am a Committee Chair & Member, and Audit & Risk Director with over a decade of board-level experience with experience across Government, Consultancy, Real Estate Leasing, and Retail industries. At board level what I do is drive process improvements. I do that by leveraging my extensive knowledge in risk management and audit practices, policy formulation, design of frameworks and strategy implementation, analysis, and reporting. Board level highlights include: ICT Security Committee, WHS Committee, ICT Governance Committee at Primary Industries and Regions South Australia; Chair of the Integration of Additional Revenue Streams Board at Intu Properties; Liquor Licence Steering Group Lead at Tony and Marks. In an executive capacity, I am currently the Director of Oxford and James where I provide business improvement/support, governance, risk, and internal control services. Previously I was the Senior Risk and Audit Consultant at PIRSA where I have strengthened the risk, internal control and accountability processes, developed a Risk and Governance Framework, and delivered the annual Executive Risk Workshops. Earlier I was the Group Risk Manager at Intu Properties. I have embedded risk management processes across all 17 shopping centres and executed quality assurance and internal auditing in line with the company policy. While working for Mazars, I was the lead consultant with Oxford Policy Management where I developed and embedded a global Risk Management Framework and a Governance Framework which included delivery of training online to country offices, and face-to-face in Africa and across the UK. Finally, I am a globally Certified Internal Auditor and am a Member of: Risk Management Institute of Australasia, Institute of Risk Management (UK), Airmic (UK), Institute of Internal Auditors (UK), and Institute of Internal Auditors (Australia).
