Vivienne Yu

I am a Chairperson, Board Member, Treasurer, and CEO with over twelve years’ board level experience across public, commercial and not for profit sectors with particular experience in banking and finance industries in APAC region. I am currently a NED and Treasurer at National Foundation for Australian Women. As a former Board Director and Treasurer for Australian Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, highlights include overseeing the management and reporting of an Auscham’s finances and financial position and ensured it remained sound during GFC in 2008. As an executive, I am currently the Managing Director at KVB Global Markets Pty Ltd, where I have led the business in achieving 50% revenue growth in Commercial segment in 2019. Prior executive roles include Executive General Manager, China CEO for Commonwealth Bank and CEO Greater China at Saxo Bank. In those roles I led CBA’s entry into China market and assisted many Australian companies and individuals with their trade and investment needs in APAC region. In terms of relevant qualifications, I have a MBA degree from AGSM. I am also a GAICD member and a qualified CPA. I won a scholarship to Woman on Board’s leadership program in 2012 and an CBA CEO award in 2018. I am fluent in Mandarin.
