I am a Board Advisor, Committee Chair, Committee Member, Treasurer, Associate Director and Senior Executive Officer with over 7 years board level experience across the government and non-for-profit sectors with experience/expertise in environment, conservation, tourism and higher education sector.
My executive level highlights include: Chair in the SugarCRM Advisory Committee, being the Treasurer for the Rural Fire Brigade, Committee member for the Business Continuity Planning Committee, Crisis Management Control Group, StaffNet Control Group, Livingstone Shire Council Byfield Community Advisory Committee; Advisor to the PT CQU Executive Business Training Centre, Jakarta and the CQU Development Pte Ltd.
In an executive capacity I am currently the Associate Director International and Services at CQUniversity where I provide executive strategic support and advice to the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President in innovation and strategy matters across the broad portfolio of the International and Services Division. Additionally, I undertake a lead role in the overseeing the university’s business continuity planning and critical incident response, reputation through rankings, and manage projects across the full spectrum of activities within the Division on behalf of the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President and other members of the Executive team. Previously, I was the Senior Executive Officer International and Services and A/Manager Strategic Planning at Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service where I manage a multi-disciplinary team across the State to deliver management directions such as statutory management plans and management statements throughout central Queensland and manage the annual budget.
In these roles I have made significant and positive impacts through the work that I have done such as designing and executing enterprise wide systems, frameworks and processes that have built organization capacity, capability such as the CQUniversity People Capability Framework and the new Code of Conduct and enable individuals and teams to connect to why they work and the difference they make to the places they work. I have led organisation wide change initiatives in safety, IT systems, Financial practices and facilities management that have seen me recognised for my innovation and received the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award for Professional Services and Opal Award from CQUniversity numerous times.
I am completing a professional Doctorate, I have an MBA, am a graduate of the AICD’s Company Director’s Course.
