Experienced Chair, Non-Executive Director (NED) and Managing Director seeking to invest over twenty years of business experience into a challenging commercial board role in health, education or other social causes. At board level, my two decades of experience simultaneously working as an entrepreneur and serving on boards has equipped me with the business instincts to cut to the chase, identify what information is required and align people together to achieve the strategic plan. This ensures the board stays on track and focused, makes meaningful use of the time available and mitigates the risks of board fatigue. My business, City Fresh Wholesalers has a turnover in excess of $4m and has utilised the pandemic as an opportunity for growth. The boards of Edith Bendall Lodge and the Mayflower Retirement Community provide exceptional care facilities and services to our clients. I am passionate about business development and I although I am a solid all-rounder, I excel when it comes to seeking out ways to cultivate strong alliances and collaborative business relationships. I am a graduate of the Company Directors Course (GAICD) and proudly recently completed the Not-For-Profit Governance program at Harvard University.
