I am a non-executive director and chair with two decades of board-level leadership across listed, private equity, public, government-owned organisations and not for profit sectors, with expertise in strategy, governance, risk, transformation, digital / technology / cyber, and experience in the utilities, energy, telecommunications, and financial services sectors. Drawing on global and cross-industry experience I bring a unique perspective that enhances organisational performance and governance, at board level my highlights include; • Delivered 86% revenue growth in 8 months, improved net profit from -4.6% to 9.6%, stabilised cashflow, addressed CEO performance, renewing shareholder confidence. - (EBS) • Oversaw reorganisation into multi divisional group, improved EBITDA 34%, reduced IT spend 52%, reversed 18 months of sales decline, delivered $300M in new business, and culminated in a successful IPO. - (UCMS) • Restored viability after 16 years of losses, delivered 28% revenue growth, 73% stronger debt recovery, 156% billing uplift via AI automation, and secured lease renewal amid complex stakeholder negotiations. - (BMAM) In an executive context I was previously the Chief Information and Security Officer at Safe Transport Victoria, and Victorian Electoral commission. Group manager Operations (CIO) at the Australian Energy Market Operator, Chief information officer at Power and Water corporation, and UCMS group, a business process outsourcer for Vodafone, Telstra, Westpac, NAB, Optus, ANZ, AGL, Amex, Alinta, Origin, TRUEnergy, CitiBank, Transurban, Ambulance services. My executive highlights include; • Transformed AEMO’s $13B energy trading and $34B control systems: 96% fewer outages, $11.3M in savings, 60% faster product delivery, and re-established stakeholder confidence. - (AEMO) • Turned a 23% operating loss into a 37% profit within 6 months, increasing revenue by 41%, improving customer retention by 600%, and reducing customer complaints by 91%. - (MGC) • Oversaw merger and digital transformation, embedding automation that reduced client onboarding by 91%, improved efficiency, strengthened fraud detection 60-fold, and delivered 50% IT cost savings. - (Safe Transport) Finally, I completed the Australian Institute of Company directors’ course in 1999, and renewed in 2013.
