I am a non executive director and chairman with two decades of board experience, across listed and unlisted companies, with expertise in technology, digital transformation, customer service, governance and risk, and experience in the infrastructure, banking, telecommunications and outsourcing industries, at board level my highlights include; • Digital transformation and turnaround, improving EBITDA by 34%, reversing 18 months of declining sales; launching $300M of new business, while positioning for ASX IPO, and later acquisition. (UCMS) • Selection of $200M government information technology outsourcing contract, improving supplier performance by 17%, and saving $15M. (NT Government) • Reversed 23% loss, and delivered a 37% profit within 12 months, while increasing revenue by 33%. (MGC) In an executive context I was previously the Chief information officer at Power and Water corporation, and Chief information officer at UCMS, a large business process outsourcer for ANZ, Westpac, NAB, Amex, Citi, Origin, AGL and Telstra, my executive highlights include; • Established and championed investment governance, eliminating unbudgeted and marginal value projects saving $16M. (AEMO) • Reorganised business into multi divisional group, yielding clear visibility of division and business unit performance, triggering divestiture and acquisition program. (UCMS) • Rescued CRM, Billing, ERP and finance system projects, approaching a 3 fold budget overrun and schedule slip. (PowerWater) Finally I completed the Australian Institute of Company directors course in 1999, and again in 2013, and am currently pursuing the Governance Institutes (Secretaries association) graduate diploma in corporate governance.
