Role Description

The Organisation

EFTEX is an Australian-owned payment processing platform that has been delivering solutions to POS and ATM terminal networks, including transaction processing and acquiring, terminal driving, and monitoring across APAC for over 23 years.

EFTEX is different. They don’t spend money on flash CBD offices. Instead, they invest in delivering client requirements and providing innovative payment solutions.

The Role

EFTEX is seeking skilled leaders and relationship builders with a strong background in the payments industry (e.g., banks, fintech, card schemes).

  • Contribute to the strategic direction


Key Responsibilities

  •  Provide strategic direction, governance, oversight, and leadership
  • Oversee compliance, organisational risk,k and internal control frameworks
  • Monitor organisational performance


Time Commitment and Location

The roles require attending four board meetings in Macquarie Park, NSW, and associated preparation.

They may also require attendance in occasional conference calls for management, financial reporting, and general compliance issues.

Selection Criteria

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem.
  • Proven leadership and Board experience.
  • Good strategic thinker.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory issues.
