Board Direction, on behalf of SAMSN - Australia’s leading organisation for male survivors of child sexual abuse and their supporters - is recruiting two new NEDs.

Survivors & Mates Support Network (SAMSN) was founded in 2011 by a small group of male survivors who were searching for a support group to meet other male survivors and deal with the effects of child sexual abuse on their lives. Unable to find such a group, they started SAMSN. Today, it is led by an experienced and passionate board and CEO.

Why this role

SAMSN have seen an increase in the scope and scale of the services they provide, along with their geographic reach, with new services being established and new senior staff engaged to complement an established CEO. They are at a critical point where new board members are needed to support national growth.

Great opportunities exist to be part of a passionate and experienced board overseeing a well-resourced and financially healthy organisation. It’s an awesome opportunity to work with amazing professional people who recognise that there is so much more for SAMSN to do and achieve.
