Non-executive director.
I am a Non-executive Director, Company Secretary and General Counsel with over 15 years of board-level experience across the media, infrastructure, arts, and legal industries and in commercial, industry association and not-for-profit organisations. I have particular expertise in commercial law and governance.
At board level, I focus on organisational governance and strategic oversight to guide and support the CEO and executive team to deliver board-approved strategic objectives. This includes engaging with regulators and stakeholders and stewarding charitable and cultural initiatives.
As an executive, most recently I served as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Southern Cross Austereo (ASX: SXL), providing legal and commercial leadership, building a high-performing team, negotiating complex transactions, managing compliance, and strengthening governance and risk frameworks to optimise outcomes. Earlier, I was General Counsel and Company Secretary at ConnectEast / Horizon Roads where I was responsible for legal and commercial affairs. In both roles, I was also responsible for board and investor administration and governance.
I have a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia and am a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
