Damon is an experienced non-executive director and a senior executive consultant specialising in stakeholder relations and strategic communications with over 25 years’ experience in designing and delivering government relations, strategic communications and social research programs for high profile clients in Australia and internationally.
He has experience as the Chair of an international NGO working across multiple jurisdictions across APAC with strict governance requirements, including DFAT accreditation. He also has government board experience on a Queensland Government appointed board on the Gold Coast. He has experience in Federal Government working for the Finance Minister as well as on multiple federal and state political campaigns.
He specialises in the strategic analysis of complex issues, leveraging insightful stakeholder engagement programs by identifying not just what people think, but exploring what is driving the situation and developing the most effective strategy to change knowledge, attitudes and behaviours in order to achieve outcomes. This makes him an invaluable non-executive director as well as adviser for clients in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and strategic communications programs.
