Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated the ability to drive strategic transformation while maintaining robust risk management frameworks. As the former CEO of Retail at Australian Unity and Group Executive at Bank of New Zealand, I have firsthand experience in navigating complex organizational change, always keeping organisational, customer and member outcomes at the forefront. My approach combines pragmatic business acumen with a deep understanding of human capital management, enabling me to guide organizations through significant transitions while maintaining operational excellence. My leadership philosophy is grounded in both practical experience and academic research. My Doctor of Business Administration, coupled with degrees in Economics and Human Resource Management, provides me with a theoretical framework that complements my hands-on experience. This combination allows me to bring both strategic depth and practical insights to board discussions, particularly in areas of business transformation and sustainable growth initiatives. Risk management and regulatory compliance have been central themes throughout my career in financial services.
