I am a risk management practitioner in national security and geopolitical risk with board
level experience including working with the Board and the Risk and Audit committee
and representing on intergovernmental committees with experience across the military,
United Nations, not for profit, private and public sectors and expertise in: mining, fast
moving consumer goods, hospitality, critical infrastructure, national security threat
analysis, geopolitical risk, enterprise and operational risk, strategic and emerging risk,
and governance.
At board level, I mitigate risk. I do that utilising broad experience applying strategic
foresight tools, systems thinking and alternative analysis, to support executives to
effectively navigate turbulent, uncertain and novel environments
In an executive capacity, I have concentrated on the governance and management of
strategic and emerging risk, with a focus on high impact low probability events and
frontier risks. I have broad experience applying strategic foresight tools, systems
thinking and alternative analysis, to support executives to effectively navigate turbulent,
uncertain and novel environments
Finally, I am a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an
alumni of executive education programs from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy,
the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, the University of Cambridge’s,
Institute for Sustainability Leadership and Judge Business School.
