Michael is a highly skilled senior leader with more than three decades of executive-level leadership experience in strategy development, policy formulation, aviation, and crisis management. He has extensive experience leading diverse, multi-disciplinary, multi-national, high-technology organisations. He is currently fulfilling a diverse portfolio of roles, including as an organisational coach for Australian Defence Force leaders, as a defence and security advisor with Australian regional governments, and working with Australia's allies and security partners on organisational reform and organisational design. He has also served as a strategic advisor to Australian businesses seeking to develop domestic and international markets. He previously served a distinguished military career culminating in a high-profile assignment as Deputy Director Strategy, Plans and Policy for United States Central Command, and leading a 30-nation strategic-level think-tank focused on Middle East and South/Central Asia security and socio-political issues.
