I am a Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary with ~12 years of board level experience with particular experience in the agricultural, land, water and resource industries. At board level, what I do is drive business growth. I do that by developing and implementing strategies to minimise business process inefficiencies and drive process improvements and business growth. Board highlights include working with the board of: Tandou (Chaired by Dick Warburton) and the Chair of the Audit Committee; RFCS Victoria - Murray Mallee working with the Finance Sub-Committee & Audit Sub-Committee; and Western Murray Irrigation Ltd (WMI) where I was heavily involved from 2018 with a change of CEO. In an executive capacity, I was a Chief Financial Officer at Western Murray Irrigation Limited. Here, again working with the board I was responsible for Cash and Portfolio Funds of investing cash levels ($7m) and oversaw and reviewed portfolio funds of $20-24m. Earlier, I was a Manager Business & Finance at Local Land Services – Western Region, a Group Financial Controller at Tandou Limited, and an Acting Executive Officer at RFCS Victoria – Murray Mallee. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance), I am a Certified Practising Accountant and a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course, am a Member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
