Clyde McConaghy, B.Bus., MBA(UK), FAICD I am an international board director in technology, travel, publishing, media, accounting and automotive industries. I have lived in the UK, Germany, China and Australia. I have Chaired boards and board committees in Public listed, private, charitable and family offices in many countries, and served on Boards on the ASX, LSX and NZX. My executive career includes The Economist, BMW and MOJO MDA. I am the first person ever to present on the definition, measure and structures of global Peace at the United Nations, OECD and other institutions. I currently Chair the Investment Committee of Neuroscience Research Australia, and co-developed with Nexus the 'Rules to Give By' index, and the 'Global Peace Index'. I was pivotal in the re-establishment of the Pararoos, Australia’s paralympic football team; of the Be Centre for children suffering mental and physical trauma; and was a founding Director of Institute for Economics and Peace in the USA and Australia. My executive career includes several years as Managing Director of a venture capital fund covering the Technolgy sector; senior marketing roles in media, consulting agency and corporates; global publisher in UK-based entities; and Group MD of a group of public listed and private entities.
