An experienced commercial lawyer and director, Sophia has established and founded two successful businesses and has played a key role in the success and growth of an award-winning law firm at which she practised for over 7 years. Sophia’s legal career spans over 11 years with extensive work in advising businesses, corporations and associations in commercial and litigious matters. As Special Counsel at Pragma, Sophia worked on broad range of legal matters with a particular focus on business establishment and operations, governance, intellectual property and privacy/data. Her clients operate in a range of industries and fields including technology, medical, property, mining and resources, logistics, and professional services. As a director and business owner, Sophia is responsible for management and growth strategy, business development, financial oversight, marketing and regulation. She employs a diverse workforce and provides regular financial and in-kind donations to charities through her various initiatives and programs. Sophia is a clear thinker, and a concise and direct communicator. She values integrity and honesty above all. Sophia is open to non-executive and advisory board positions with a particular focus in the technology, resources, medical/health, and arts/culture sectors.
