I am a Non-Executive Board Member, Chair, Finance & Risk Committee Member, and CIO with three decades of board-level experience with particular expertise in the Retail, Health & Disability, Energy, Banking, Financial Services, Airline and Not-for-Profit sectors. At board level what I do is drive technological advancement for business growth. I do that by leveraging my knowledge in strategy formulation, technology management, operational and project management, data security, risk management and team leadership. In an executive capacity, I have built a career as a Senior Technology Executive with extensive operational experience in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, India, USA and the UK managing budgets of up to $20M. I am currently a Consultant for the International Organization of Migration (IOM) - a UN agency headquartered in Geneva. Here I develop process and software improvements to deal with the global COVID response and the processing of immigrants from over 60 countries including Afghanistan and the Ukraine. Previously, as the Head of IT Strategy and Planning at Energy Australia, I coordinated all technology-based structural and process changes. Earlier, I was the CIO of Bakers Delight Holdings, the world’s largest bakery franchise with annual revenue of $1.1B and over 700 bakeries in 4 countries. Finally, I hold a Master of Management Technology from Melbourne Business School and I am a Graduate of AICD’s Company Directors Course.
