I am a Non-Executive Director, Company Secretary, Audit & Compliance Committee Chair and Group CFO with almost two decades of board level experience and particular expertise in the Retail, Health, and Not-for-Profit sectors. At board level what I do is drive financial performance for business growth. I do that by leveraging my knowledge in finance & IT transformation, full financial/P&L oversight, business insights & analytics, corporate property development, financial planning & reporting, budgeting & forecasting, strategic planning, and team leadership. I am currently serving as a Non-Executive Director, Audit & Compliance Committee Chair at Brien Holden Foundation, Non-Executive Director & Company Secretary at The Bread & Butter Project, Non-Executive Director The Joseph Varga School and Member of the Audit and Compliance Committee and Risk Management Committee at Brien Holden Vision Institute. In an executive capacity, I am a Consultant, having recently completed work with Direct Group, where I advise on efficiencies and cost reductions, identifying potential savings of $2.5m. Previously I held multiple senior roles, such as Group CFO and Corporate Finance & Administration Director within ALDI Stores. Here I was also a member of the Global IT Strategy Steering Committee and Company Secretary. I have supported double-digit YOY growth from $4.5b to nearly $10b, the chain expansion from 300 to 520 stores and I have also consolidated the middle and back-office functions reaching a 40% reduction in national finance and back-office costs ($3m p.a.). Finally, I hold an MBA (deferred) from MGSM, Graduate of AICD’s Company Directors Course and an Associate Member of CPA Australia.
