I have deep technical expertise in Information Technology and have spent my career championing the importance of the human side of IT. I own my own Digital Strategy company - Solentive System (derived from the words “Inventive Solutions”), which I founded in London in 1993 and in Sydney in 1995, and as a result have been an executive director for nearly 30 years. Solentive is a consultancy firm that focuses on providing value to its clients by understanding their strategic objectives and defining a Digital Strategy to support this, using a combination of software products and custom or bespoke software. Solentive strives to work with ethical companies, including prioritising work in the recycling, clean energy and not-for-profit sectors. Innovation and forward-thinking is a key part of how we help our clients succeed. As the founder, I have been working with both large and mid-market companies to utilise IT to help them in their transformation journeys. A crucial part of the Digital Transformation process is the definition of scalable, performant and maintainable Enterprise Architecture, reliable Infrastructure and robust Security and Business Continuity planning. As a result of my expertise, I have helped hundreds of clients across various domains in these areas.
