KEY BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENTS
Led the creation of Aurecon to be a 7,500-person global engineering company: Formulated diversification strategy at Connell Wagner that led to merger with Africon and Ninham Shand. Business had 80 offices in 28 countries across Australasia, Africa, Middle East and South America.
Transformed the cultures of three major engineering firms: Led cultural transformation of Connell Wagner, and then Aurecon, to be humanistic, constructive and performance driven. Led the transformation at GHD, Connell Wagner and Aurecon from inward looking to client focused.
Built a series of successful, high performance management teams: Selected, led and developed executives located across globe into aligned, cohesive and highly effective teams. Simultaneously achieved stretching targets with high ethical standards and collegiate behavior.

Transactions: Led over 30 successful strategic mergers to grow expertise and capacity in the Hong Kong and China markets, in materials testing, power distribution in Africa, process engineering and controls, expansion into Tanzania and Kenya, ports, specialist building services and more.
Projects: Had ultimate responsibility for projects such as Wembley Stadium, Dalrymple Bay (A$2B) and NCIG coal terminals (A$1.8B), MCG Northern Stand, Sunshine Coast University Hospital (A$1.0+B).
Diversity & Safety: Established embedded cultures in diversity and safety. Diversity awareness increased by 80% and safety culture by 70%. Lost time injuries reduced to well below industry standards.
