Finance Director

I am a Board Member, former Chair and Vice-Chair and CFO with over ten years of board level experience across Power, Energy, Construction, EPCM and Professional Services sectors. At board level what I do is drive operational and profit improvements. I do that by applying my deep knowledge of corporate strategy, financial and commercial management, financial risk, business optimisation, stakeholder management and HR/IR experience. Board level highlights include: Board Member at Clarke Energy, a Kohler Company and former Chair and Vice Chair of ACCA in Australia and New Zealand. In an executive capacity, I am currently Finance Director at Clarke Energy, which is a power generation business in Asia Pacific. Here I provide strategic leadership for the growth of the business, improve financial outcomes and lead finance, treasury, reporting, IT, Quality, HR and Health and Safety teams. Previously I was the Executive, Finance and IT at Southern Cross Care, where I improved financial management and IT of the organisation which has 20 residential care facilities, 40 retirement villages and 1,500 home care packages. Earlier in my career I was a Principal at EY. I hold a Masters in Professional Accounting from UCL and I am a Chartered Accountant.
