I am a Chair, Non-Executive, Finance, Risk and Audit Committee Member and Director with over twenty years board level experience and particular expertise in the not for profit, health, aid, funds management and resources industries. At board level what I do is drive business performance. I do that by applying my financial, governance, compliance and audit skills. Board level highlights include my position at Parkinson’s NSW where I am a Member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, a Chair at Hurstville & Rockdale Friendly Society Limited, and past Responsible Manager AFSL at AGGIS Capital. In an executive capacity, I am currently a consultant for various resources companies. As such, I help CEO/MDs highlight areas of opportunity. As a Director and Responsible Manager AFSL at AGGIS Capital, I established the client’s business systems in a cost-effective manner and established a compliance regime along with integrated operating procedures. Earlier, I was a Senior Portfolio Manager where funds under management grew to approximately $2.5 B, including $350 M in the resources fund. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Graduate Diplomas in Applied investment and Finance from Securities Institute of Australia and in Business Administration from APESMA/Deakin University. I am also a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
