Non-Executive Director

I am a Non-Executive Director, Advisory Board Member, Company Director and Project Executive who brings 40 years industry experience and over 5 years board level experience, with specific expertise in the mining, oil & gas and management consulting industries. At board level I have recently joined the Board of QEM Limited (ASX:QEM) as a Non-Executive Director, where I contribute my deep understanding of mining and energy projects to the development of QEM's flagship Julia Creek vanadium and shale project. My contribution at Board level includes a comprehensive experience-based understanding of scope, cost, performance and risk governance through the entire project life cycle, from early concept development through feasibility assessment, implementation and operation. In an executive capacity I am a shareholder in Siecap Pty Ltd, a project management advisory and consultancy firm, where I am the Head of Advisory for our energy and project development practices. Here I direct Siecap’s strategic advisory, consulting and project management services for mining, petroleum and energy clients, who range from listed small caps to multinationals. I am the founder and Executive Director of Inkwazi Energy which focuses on advisory and strategic consulting to governments, national oil companies and other parastatal agencies in developing nations. Earlier, I developed Rio Tinto’s unconventional energy project portfolio in Mozambique. Finally, I completed an MBA masters’ degree in 2001, am a Certified Practicing Project Manager and graduated with an Associate Diploma of Mechanical Engineering in 1994. I am a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
