I am a Non-Executive Director, Board Member, Treasurer, Chief Communications Officer and Investor Relations executive with over 15 years board-level experience. I have particular expertise in mining and metals, construction, management consulting and agriculture industries. At board level, I use my sound financial knowledge and deep understanding of equity markets to create shareholder value and facilitate business growth by aligning business priorities with communications outputs. Board level highlights include: Non-Executive Director at Simonds Homes including Remuneration Chair, Council Member and Treasurer at MacRobertson Girls’ High School. In an executive capacity I am currently Chief Communications Officer at Orica Limited. Here, I developed and executed the investor engagement program for a A$500m institutional placement to support the Exsa acquisition, resulting in a 2.65x oversubscription from existing shareholders and high-quality new investors. I was integral to the launch of the company’s recently announced 2050 net zero emissions ambition, By proactively engaging with proxy advisors, activists and ESG analysts, she implemented an effective and successful communication plan to clearly articulate how the company will deliver on its 2050 net zero ambition Previously I was Vice President, Investor Relations within the same company and achieved a +10% increase in share price and a rerating by the market under extremely challenging circumstances. Earlier, I was Founder and Director of Cassidy & Associates. I’m a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I have an MBA and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting.
