Non Executive Director

I am a Non-Executive Director, Chair, Councillor and business owner with over 25 years board level experience across the private, for purpose and public sectors with particular experience in the government administration, leisure and tourism industries. At board level what I do is grow businesses and revenue. I do that by driving strong financial, governance and strategic planning skills to support both strategy development and budget management. Board level highlights include: Chair and Board Member of multi award winning Mudgee Region Tourism Inc (MRTI); I have led various lobbying activities for peak industry groups, including Mudgee Business Association, Mid-Western Community Action group, Mudgee Olive Growers Association, Mudgee Fine Foods, Mudgee Wine Grape Growers, Cudgegong Valley Water Security Committee; and Director of Destination Country & Outback (DNCO), where I played a lead role in developing the organisation’s inaugural strategy to achieve visitor targets for an area covering 62% of NSW. I also chair the Audit and Risk Committee for the DNCO. In an executive capacity, I am a Councillor for Mid-Western Regional Council where I oversee the allocation of community investment ($100m annual budget). I am a Director of the Horseless Carriage Club of America, where I drive for the preservation, restoration, and usability of pre-1916 vehicles. Previously I built a portfolio of businesses under the umbrella of Holden Management which continues to operate. Finally, I hold multiple certifications in corporate governance and finance and I am a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
