I am agile, results-oriented non-executive director and executive with over twenty years’ experience driving Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Assurance, Business Resilience, Cyber Security, Community Safety, Data Analytics, Information Management, and IT & Business Transformation across private industry, state and local government, and not-for-profit organisations. At board level, I drive good governance to ensure risk is effectively managed and utilised, so that an organisation can achieve its vision, mission and strategic objectives. In an executive capacity, I am currently the Director Risk and Compliance for the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Over the course of my career I have held senior roles with organisations such as WorkSafe Victoria, Department of Transport, Wyndham City Council, NAB and Telstra. I have attained post graduate qualifications in business, corporate governance, and security management. I have completed the AICD Company Directors Course, I am a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and hold international certifications in governance risk and compliance, business continuity, project management and security management, and I am also a qualified fraud investigator. I bring a unique blend of business administration, GRC, and technology skills and experience that is rare to find. In addition I have strong knowledge and experience in the finance and telecommunications industry, and public sector administration (state and local), and I am member of various of industry organisations. This I believe presents a significant value proposition to prospective board or committees.
