I am a Chair, Director & Group CEO with almost 20 years global board level experience across the finance and manufacturing sectors, with particular experience in the automotive industry. At board level what I do is grow businesses and revenue. I do that by leveraging decades of international experience and developing short and long-term strategies to ensure sustainable and profitable growth in Financial and General Management positions. Board level highlights include: Chair of various subsidiaries of ZF Friedrichshafen AG in Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, China, India and Malaysia. In these roles I have introduced governance, strategic and risk management topics and steered the region into an increase in Operating Profit of 300%. In an executive capacity I am currently Group Chief Executive Officer at BusTech Group where I have Full P&L responsibility for the Group. Previously I was Chief Executive Officer of BusTech (QLD), a part of BusTech Group, where I increased the operating profit by 700%. Earlier I held GM/MD and Head of Region SEA, India, Pacific roles at various subsidiaries of ZF Group in Thailand, China and Australia. Finally, I have an MBA, I am a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
BOARD & EXECUTIVE SUCCESSES
● At BusTech Group, received approval for the first locally designed electric bus on panel 3 for Transport of New South Wales;
● At BusTech (QLD), decreased customer complaints 50% and improved on time delivery 33%; increased operation capacity 25% to meet customer demand; increased operating profit 700% while decreasing Capital Employed 25%;
● At ZF Lemforder Thailand, established new greenfield plants and legal entities in Rayong (Thailand), Pekan (Malaysia) and Haiphong (Vietnam);
● At ZF Chassis Systems Co. I increased operating profit 280% and Inventory Turn Rate 32% while decreasing Capital Employed 186%; decreased customer complaints 77% and improved external customer quality rating 50%; reduced employee turnover 51%; received ZF Excellence award for 3rd best plant in ZF Group worldwide.
● At ZF Lemforder Australia, reduced annual employee turnover from 11% to 7% and absenteeism from 4% to 3%; increased operating profit 1300% in an environment of an overall sales reduction of 2%; reduced lost time due to injuries 95% and increased customer quality results 90%;
● At BMW Group AG, achieved cost savings of up to 25% over a 3-year period;
