With extensive experience as a senior finance executive, I have advised and worked with boards to significantly elevate financial performance, drive business growth and have provided pivotal input to the strategic direction of a business operating in a highly competitive and, at times, turbulent environment. I am known for my perseverance, determination and diplomacy in enlisting board and senior executive commitment to initiatives that are in the best interests of the business by pivoting, re-imagining and improving proposals to convincingly demonstrate their impact on a company’s performance and financial position. I adopt an open approach to communication so that information is shared to enable rapid responses and solutions to avert crises or capitalise on opportunities. When engaging with board members, CEOs, and colleagues, I present complex commercial, financial, and corporate governance issues succinctly and clearly to ensure that well-informed decisions are made. I apply my comprehensive understanding of all facets of a business to immediately recognise the potential effect of internal and external events on performance and provide viable and cost-effective options to mitigate their impact or to leverage opportunities.
