I am a Board Member, Committee Member & Director with over 15 years board level experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors with particular experience in the accounting industry. At board level I assist with improving financial literacy of directors through training sessions and advising on the financial reporting implications of proposed transactions and strategic directions. Board level highlights include: Member of SME Implementation Group at International Accounting Standards Board, Committee Member / Board Secretary at Mums Supporting Families in Need and Board Member at the Australian Accounting Standards Board. In an executive capacity I am currently Principal/Director at Australian Financial Reporting Solutions and Team Leader – Corporate Reporting at GAAP Consulting Network where I provide clients with accounting standards advice and in-house / public financial reporting training sessions. I have a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics, I am a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and I am a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
