I am a Committee Chair, Treasurer and Senior Finance Professional, with over a decade board level experience across the private sectors with particular international experience within manufacturing, aerospace, defence, government, Oil & Petrochemical, Renewable energy, and FMCG industries. At board level what I do is ensure robust financial control and governance by leveraging my extensive compliance, audit and risk expertise in international and large, complex organisations. In an executive capacity, I was the Financial Controller (CFO equivalent) for Boeing Defence Australia where I have led organisational change strategies and initiatives realising efficiencies and safeguarding future performance and growth. Previously as a Senior Manager, Financial Operations & Planning (& FD in 2014) at Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA), I have helped business to optimise cost performance and modernize finance function and as Senior Finance Manager, Don KRC Division build ground-up finance and compliance teams to support a period of consolidation for George Weston Foods Ltd. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Commerce and I am a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and have a Company Secretary qualification with advanced understanding of governance and risk (FGIA/FCG) in a variety of business contexts. Also, I am a qualified CPA in Australia, CIMA in the UK, CISA in the US and CA from India.
