Board Member / SVP CFO

I am a seasoned Board Member, Chair (Committee), Senior Vice President and CFO with over twenty five years of board level experience across the commercial, private and not for profit sectors with particular focus on the tourism, hospitality and property development industries. At the board level I help organizations grow through balanced strategic planning, driving improvements in financial performance and considered risk management. Board level highlights include: Board Member and Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee with the Sydney Community Foundation, Be Kind Sydney and the Sydney Women’s Fund and Member of the Executive Committees for both the Costa Asia Brand and P&O Australia brand. In an executive capacity I am currently the SVP of Business Development for Carnival Corporation, and in particular, for the Costa Crociere brand. Here I am leading the development of sustainable businesses within the Asian region. Previously I was the CFO, SVP and Executive Member of Costa Asia (Shanghai), within Carnival Corporation where I developed the strategic plan for the Asian business, including establishing the offices in Shanghai, Tokyo, HK and Singapore, turning around the business and transforming a double-digit loss to double-digit profit. Earlier I was the CFO of Carnival Australia and a P&O Executive Member. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Business Administration and am a Fellow of the CPA. I am also a member of both the AICD and Board Directions Practise.
