I am a Non Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary with over twenty years of board level experience across the commercial, government and not for profit sectors with particular experience in the financial services, hospitality, horticulture, agriculture and sporting industries. Board highlights include: Company Director with Lang Lang Golf Club Holdings Limited contributing to its governance, strategic and commercial development; Company Secretary of Nursery & Garden Industry Victoria and the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, and previously Company Secretary for the Australian Alpaca Association, Greyhounds Australasia and Rossdale Golf Club. In an executive capacity I am the Chief Executive Officer of Nursery & Garden Industry Victoria representing the interests of an industry worth $1.6B and engaging with over 3,200 Victorian public, Catholic and Independent schools as well as governance of the annual Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Previously I was the General Manager of the Australian Alpaca Association where I transformed the Board into a strategic body rather than an operational committee. Earlier I was the CEO of Greyhounds Australasia. In this role I delivered improved internal governance – rewriting the constitution and led a $1.2M technology upgrade, improvements to greyhound welfare and integrity through a $360k microchip project and grew net profits above $200k over five consecutive years. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and am a qualified Chartered Secretary.
