I am a Chair, Non-Executive Director and General Manager with almost two decades of board level experience across the commercial, government and not for profit sectors with particular experience in the mental health, community and refugee services and education industries. At board level what I do is drive performance improvements and increase community outcomes. I do this by drawing on deep data and measurement experience to develop systematic governance approaches. Board level highlights include: Non-Executive Director of the Plenty Valley Montessori School Association and Non-Executive Director and Chair of Solace EMC; Invited expert to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Information Development Expert Advisory Panel and contribution to the Victorian Office of the Chief Psychiatrist’s Mental Health Clinical Reviews. In an executive capacity I am currently the General Manager of Direct Services with The Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture. Here I am working with the board to implement a new clinical governance framework and lead the development of services for approximately 5,000 survivors of torture and other traumatic events. Previously I was the Director of Strategic Development and Planning for MacKillop Family Services. Again, working with the Board to create the Strategic Plan and delivered over $31M in new business. Earlier I was the Manager of Child and Youth Mental Health Services with Eastern Health and Community Program Manager with Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Mental Health. In both roles I implemented new models of care reducing / eliminating waitlist times. Tertiary qualified in both clinical and management fields, I am a registered psychologist with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Science (Psychology).
