I am a Chair, Co-Chair, Non Executive Director and Director with twenty years board level experience across the private sector with particular experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, real estate, operations, multi-unit franchising and supply chain industries. Strong strategic, business and financial acumen with extensive knowledge and experience domestically and across Asia, Pacific, Middle East and African markets with proven track record of accelerating sustainable and profitable business growth and results, turnaround strategies for underperforming businesses, developing risk management strategies and organizational restructuring. At board level highlights include: complex sale and acquisition transactions across 4 major markets, developing and oversight of financial and non-financial governance and risk management in complex and challenging markets as well as being a member of the Harvard University Kennedy School Global Woman’s Leadership Board for 10 years where I developed and implemented plans and key initiatives to increase the gender diversity of ‘C suite’ executives in Asian markets. In an executive capacity I recently held the position of Head of Asia and Company Director at the McDonald’s Corporation. Here I have held multiple board and committee roles including being responsible for more than $USD 4 billion in revenue and delivering double-digit year on year revenue growth and operating income along with significant increases in margins and market share across 12 Asian markets. Previously, I was COO for 38 markets across Asia, Pacific, Middle East & Africa with more than 10,000 restaurants, 200,000 crew, 2000 suppliers. I have Bachelor of Applied Science (Food and Technology) from the University of New South Wales, am a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Leadership Program and the McDonald’s Global Leadership Development Program with INSEAD and graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course.
