Non Executive Director

I am a Non-Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Experience Officer, Corporate Adviser and Executive Coach with almost twenty years of board level experience across the commercial and not for profit sectors with particular interest in multi-site operations in the retail, hospitality, leisure, entertainment and professional service industries. I have proven experience leading businesses through significant transformation and growth across all aspects of the operations including business strategy and development, digital and marketing strategies, team and customer focus and delivering best in category performance. At board level highlights include: Non-Executive Director of GoGet contributing to growing market share and expanding the fleet network, and experience as a Board Member and Advisor with the Tenpin Bowling Association. In an executive capacity highlights include: Chief Experience Officer with the Ardent Leisure Group overseeing both Main Event in the USA and Theme Parks in Australia. As part of this role, I developed a new business opportunity to be rolled out in the USA. This included branding and positioning, venue design and layout and pro forma modelling. I was also appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and Skypoint, in 2018, to guide the theme parks and attractions division through significant challenges across the organisation at that time. This included being a Member of the Risk and Safety Committee. Before this, my role was the Chief Executive Officer for Ardent Leisure’s Bowling and Entertainment Division where I was a key advisor to the Board, transforming the business and increasing turnover by 32% before selling the business to Timezone for $160M. As the Chief Executive Officer of Bras N Things, profit and market share was increased through repositioning the brand, significant restructuring of operations and the expansion of new brands into online and retail stores. I was the General Manager of Angus and Coote as well as Goldmark where I worked closely with the board to increase national sales and profit. I am currently a Corporate Advisor and Executive Coach providing expert strategic advice to clients to support business development and capability growth. Finally, I have completed the AICD’s Company Director course and was a Member of the CEO Institute. I have completed Executive Education programs through the Harvard Business School and am a qualified negotiator, gemmologist and certified Jewellery valuer.
