Board Director
I am a Non Executive Director, Deputy Chair and Committee Member (Governance, Nominations, Risk) with over twenty years of executive and board level experience across the public and not for profit sector with particular experience in the education and youth affairs environments.
At board level, I am a Non Executive Director and Governance Committee Member with the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria, as well as Deputy Chair and Governance Committee Member with Janet Clarke Hall, based within the University of Melbourne. I was also previously a Risk Committee Member with the Centre for Strategic Education. In these roles I have led strategic planning, developed risk policies and provided expertise to measure organizational strategic impacts.
In an executive capacity I have recently completed a temporary appointment as Interim CEO of Youth Affairs Council Victoria, at the Board’s invitation. Previously I have had more than 20 years’ executive experience in a variety of roles including Youth Services Strategy Manager for a major Not-for-profit and Principal of an independent school, where I led a complete turnaround of a struggling organisation including improving financial management, increasing enrolments, stronger marketing and improving the student experience.
Finally I have a Master of Educational Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration and have completed and successfully graduated from the AICD’s Company Directors course.
