Non Executive Director
I am a Committee Member and Chair, Councilor, Panelist and Director with over twenty years of executive and board level experience across the public, commercial and not for profit sectors with experience in the justice, information management, education, youth vocation and disability support services, healthcare, banking and finance and heritage industries. At board level some highlights include being a Member of the Northern Territory’s Department of Education, Audit and Risk Committee and a Specialist Member of the Northern Territory Government Records Management Reference Group. As an Executive Panel Member with McKinsey I provided key insights into trends across the Australian economy and workforce and, have experience as a Committee Member with the Six Stars Association, supporting people with a disability and Rotary in youth and vocational training.
In an executive capacity I am the Director of the Governance and Risk branch, Corporate and Strategic Services with the Department of the Attorney-General and Justice in the Northern Territory. Here I provide advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Directors on corporate governance, performance, risk and Work Health and Safety. I led a major reform and restructure initiative across the 14 divisions and business units within the department to improve the integration of strategic, business and operational activities following the change of government in 2016. Prior to this role I was the Director of the Office of the Chief Executive with the Child and Adolescent Health Service in Western Australia. In this position I provided corporate governance, business intelligence and compliance advice to the Chair of the Governing Council, its members, Chief Executive and Executive to ensure decisions were compliant with legislation, regulations and policy.
Finally, I have a Master of Business Administration and have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. In 2011, I was chosen by the Joondalup Chapter of the Business and Professional Women’s Association as one its 100 business women for the centenary celebrations of International Women’s Day and was a Justice of the Peace in Western Australia for over ten years.
