I am a Chairman, Committee Member, Non-Executive Director, Advisory Board Member, CEO and Independent Consultant with over twenty (20) years of executive and board level experience across the public, commercial and not-for-profit sectors experience in a diverse range of industries and sectors. I have a demonstrable track record in elevating corporate performance, efficiency and standards, effective strategy development and implementation, enhancing firm and shareholder value and in achieving high-level successes in a variety of board, committee and executive management roles. As a consultant, I have extensive practical experience in the assessment and evaluation of board and CEO performance, director skill appraisals and the assessment or development of corporate governance polices, practices and procedures. I have a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Master of Business Administration (With Distinction) and have completed a Graduate Diploma with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2008). I was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW and as a Solicitor and Barrister of the High Court of Australia (1997) and certified as an Accredited Specialist in Business Law in 2012. I am also a Chartered Corporate Secretary (16 years) having attained certification and a graduate diploma from Chartered Secretaries Australia and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. I am highly regarded as an expert in corporate governance, strategy and the law. With a strong focus on working practically as a trusted member of a team, I am also prepared to engage in robust discussion of material issues, while also supporting colleagues, in the interests of enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Board.
