General Counsel
I am a General Counsel and Board Committee Member with fifteen years of board level experience across the commercial & not for profit sectors. I have particular experience in the legal, FMCG, franchising, mining/oil & gas, property development and construction/major projects industries.
At board level I have sat on the Audit & Risk and Store Review Committees of Pizza Hut Australia, and am a Member of the Rotary Club’s Peace Building Committee.
In an executive capacity, I am the General Counsel of Pizza Hut Australia and directly advise the board and other stakeholders on risk, compliance, corporate governance, restructuring, brand reputation, directors duties, ethics and conflict, corporate affairs and crisis management.
I also manage the legal team which provides advice on general commercial advisory, commercial contract review and negotiations, IP, technology, privacy, marketing and consumer protection, data analytics, AI, WHS, employment, leasing, M&A, insurance, supply chain, regulatory compliance, parliamentary investigations, and disputes.
Earlier, as Senior Associate with Norton Rose Fullbright Australia I provided corporate and commercial advice to clients across the manufacturing and supply, food & beverage, FMCG, retailing, franchising, financial services, insurance, technology, medical, construction, major projects, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas industries. I sat on the NRFA Global Energy Headlight Group, the NRFA Global Infrastructure, Mining and Commodities Headlight Group, and the NRFA Asia Capability Group.
I was seconded as Senior Corporate Counsel to Caltex to assist with corporate and commercial advisory, and stakeholder relations and dispute resolution. I also advised 7-Eleven in the “cash back” test-case relating to reputational damage due to a franchisee fraudulent practices. I sat on the NRFA Global Energy Headlight Group, the NRFA Global Infrastructure, Mining and Commodities Headlight Group and Asia Capability Group.
I also have experience as a Director of the property and construction company, where I led the development of a 2,500 sqm site on the lower north shore of Sydney comprising 72 units and a 10,000 sqm prototype aqua-cultural facility in eastern Europe.
