Stephen is a highly experienced Manager and Company Director with 12 years demonstrated success in the growth, strategic development, financial oversight, corporate governance, risk management and team development of entire business units within global companies as well as privately owned enterprise. Stephen is currently a Director at Sniip Pty Ltd, where his major role is governance during the development, launch and growth phases of the company. The company has now working to secure national and international clients. Within his previous role as Director, Coal Business Unit at Hatch & Associates, Stephen demonstrated his strong financial and risk management competencies by providing governance and oversight to a Multi-Billion dollar bid and project portfolio within Australia and Internationally. In addition to his proven corporate expertise, Stephen has demonstrated success in the launch of new businesses, growing brand reputation and scale to enable merger, acquisition or sale opportunities. As Co-Founder and Director of Process Consult, Stephen built his boutique coal processing consultancy from a zero start up position in 2005, to an annual turn-over of $8.5M, including management of a team of 45 FTE in less than 6 years. Stephen successfully led Process Consult through the GFC, resulting in retention of 77% of the workforce whilst landing major contracts with Anglo American Metallurgical Coal. Process Consult was sold to Hatch & Associates in 2011.
