As a senior manager since 1996 working in the infrastructure field with Local Government and Board member since 2011, I have a wide range of experience in strategy, leadership, management, governance, finance and risk management. This depth of experience is enhanced through strategic advocacy roles with the South East Australian Transport Strategy Inc (SEATS) and the NSW Roads & Transport Directorate, both of which I have represented on their Executive Management Committees> This included Chairing the NSW RTD Executive Management Committee and leading the NSW Roads Congress. My roles have included public speaking and media engagement, working with both government (including members of Parliament) and private industry to achieve aligned strategies for specific and on-going improvement, and positive change. This experiential learning has been enhanced by successfully completing the Australian Institute of Company Directors course (GAICD). I am keen to explore more commercial and strategic Board roles that allow me to make a positive contribution to the company. Whilst I have a background in undertaking roles with a strong focus on enhancing outcomes for the community, I am seeking to further expand my Board roles into the commercial or other non-for-profit space, as a full-time career.
