I am a President, Vice President, Committee Member, Managing Director/Company Secretary and business owner with over twenty years of board level experience across the public, commercial & not for profit sectors with particular experience in the education, government services, finance, technology, travel and transport industries. At board level some highlights include being a Member of the National Seniors Australia Queensland Policy Advisory Group contributing expertise to policy research and development and an Executive Member of the Africans Community Foundation in Australia facilitating no interest loans to support community development initiatives. I was also the President and a Committee Member of Whites Hill State College P&C and the State Vice President of the Queensland Council of Parents & Citizens. In an executive capacity I am the Owner of About Managing providing corporate services, strategic and financial advice to businesses. Prior to that I held various roles with Brisbane City Council where made recommendations to the Board for projects valued at $10m+. Finally, I have 3 tertiary qualifications and 6 technical qualifications including a Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma of Management. I have also been a member of the Apex, Lions and Rotary Clubs.
