With the decline of ‘local for local’ product development and a 66% reduction of local design centres globally by Ericsson in the early 2000's, led, as its first Managing Director, the successful refocus to a global design centre, separately incorporated from the Australian sales and marketing organisation with over 500 staff; the largest ICT R&D centre in Australia at the time. I also acted as a board and/or executive committee member of various Ericsson JV's and VC funded start ups.
