As a commercial lawyer in both private practice and the public sector, I have extensive experience and expertise in governance, commercial transactions (including transactions and joint projects between the public and private sector), administrative law, major projects and infrastructure, procurement, information technology, privacy and data security, telecommunications and advising on, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. As a part-owner of two Montessori Childcare Centres (one of which has an 'excellent' rating, I also have significant interest and hands-on experience in early learning and development. I am an experienced non-executive director and Board chair. I have been actively involved as a member of Board Committees, including Audit and Risk, Project Control, Governance and Due Diligence. I am also experienced from both the board and legal perspectives in Governance, Strategy and Change Management. My experience gained as a lawyer and as a director is not siloed. The experiences in each have enabled me to add greater depth and understanding to the risks, advice and consideration I give in whatever role. My personal interests include the performing arts and photography.
