Robyn Parker
Non Executive Director, CEO
I am a Non-Executive Director, Committee Chair and Chief Executive Officer with almost twenty years of board level experience across the public, commercial & not for profit sectors with particular experience in the environment, heritage, zoological, ageing, disability, health, community services and education industries.
At board level, I am a Non-Executive Director of Taronga Conservation Society (Taronga and Western Plains Zoos) and Chair of the Taronga Institute Education Taskforce and Chair of the Marketing Committee. I am also a Non-Eexcutive Director of MTC Australia – Warakirri College.
I was previously a Non-Executive Director for the CB Alexander Foundation. I was also the Committee Chair and a Member of the Legislative Council in the NSW Parliament where I was the Liberal and Nationals’ spokesperson for health, education and community services legislation.
In an executive capacity, I was most recently the CEO and Company Secretary of Ageing and Disability Service provider Delphis Australia where I initiated and led a very successful merger with another not-for-profit organisation.
Previously I was the Member for Maitland, the Minister for the Environment and the Minister for Heritage in the NSW Parliament where I drove substantial policy, legislative and community change within the NSW and COAG.
Specifically, I introduced commercial activities to National Parks and some of Australia’s toughest environmental laws while refocusing Government agendas on protecting our history and natural environment through aboriginal sites and native species conservation initiatives.
I am a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors’ Course.
