I am a Board & Committee Member and Human Resources Director with over 20 years board level experience across the ASX listed, global and small business sectors with particular expertise in university, technology and innovation/healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing settings. At board level some highlights include: Advisory Board Member of University of NSW and Macquarie University as well as a Committee Member of the Australian Business Excellence Awards. I also sat on Cochlear’s Remuneration Committee and was a Board member and Superannuation Trustee of both Kodak Australia and BMS Australia. In an executive capacity I have 20+ years working with global, Asian and significant, large and small Australian businesses (often with a technology and innovation focus). Here I enable people and culture development for business success. Most recently I was the Senior Vice President Human Resources at Cochlear where I led the Global HR team and built Cochlear’s leadership and organizational capability. Earlier I was the Senior Director Strategic Staffing and Human Resources Director at Bristol Myers Squibb – a leading Global Pharmaceutical company. Finally, I recently completed the AICD’s Company Directors Diploma and have a Masters in Human Resources and a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
